Red Bull Firearms Training
Red Bull Firearms Training offers Firearms Safety Field Day for those who have completed the MN DNR Online Firearms Safety Certification for Youth course. Visit the MN DNR website for information on how to begin this online training.
To hunt with a firearm in Minnesota, those 12 or older and born after 12/31/1979 must have a Hunter Education/Firearms Safety Certificate.
Students 11-17 years old will learn the principles of safe and responsible firearms handling, hunter responsibility, personal preparedness, basic wildlife identification and management, and basic outdoor survival.
Hunter Education/Firearms Safety (HEFAS) certificates are recognized by all states and provinces that require hunter safety education.
What to Expect
- 2 1/2 hours of classroom instruction
- 3 hours of outdoor activities
- 1/2 hour of review and graduation

$7.50 (Bottled water will be provided by Red Bull Firearms Training at no cost)
It's encouraged for the student attending to bring a snack.
